During the most fun bbq event of the year we have a Rib Cookoff and you dont want to mis this one. A event for the whole familly!!!
Don’t have any equipment to join the competition?? then choose the “full option” service in the registration area and we make sure there is a full workstation for you ready to show your bbq skills (kamado, table, basic tools under a shared tent)
Single rib: prepare 1 set of ribs, you can choose between Baby Back ribs or Belly ribs
(2 ribs of Your choice will be provided by us),
Ancillary “pork cheeks”: Let Your imagination work and surprise the Judges with your best dish with the pork cheeks as the star of the show. (Pork cheeks provided by organizer)
Timeline:
08:00 : Location open for teams to build up their space
10:00 : Cooks meeting including the ribs selection
13:00 : Judge meeting
14:00 > 14:30 : Turn in Ancillary “Pork Cheeks”
16:00 > 16:30 : Turn in Ribs
17:30 : Awards

Ancillary “Pork Cheeks” rules
Turn in of a minimum of 5 individual portions in the provided turn in box
Size of the turn in box is 238x201x75mm (outside size)
The judges only assess the individual portions, not the entire box.
Everything must be edible. Only a potential serving vessel can be disposable like a cup or amuse spoon
The Pork Cheeks must be the star of the show!
