Belgium Barbecue weekend Rib Cookoff on the 25th of May!!! its going to be a epic cookoff on a even better location, De Schorre, Boom, Belgium. This competition is part of a full weekend with BBQ, competitions and much more. Definitely one to compete in or visit.

Don’t have any equipment to join the competition then choose the “full option” service and we make sure there is full workstation for you ready to show your bbq skills (kamado, table, basic tools under a shared tent)

These are the options:

Single rib: prepare 1 set of ribs, you can choose between Baby Back ribs or Belly ribs
(2 ribs of Your choice will be provided by organizer),
Ancillary: Pork Rib Roast (will be provided by organizer)

Timeline:
08:00 : Location open for teams to build up their space
10:30 : Cooks meeting including the ribs selection
11:00 : Judge meeting
14:30 > 15:00 : Turn in Ancillary “Pork Roast”
15:30 > 16:00 : Turn in Ribs
17:30 : Awards

Additional rules for the ancillary “pork roast”

You can only cook the provided pork roast, it is not allowed to bring your own and or prepared meat.

You will recieve a presentation plank from the organizer where you can display your dish on.

You can cook it whole, you can cut it in individual pork chops, you can use it in a stew.

Garnish is allowed.

Anything on the presentation plank must be edible.

it will be judged on APPEREANCE, CREATIVITY en TASTE.
